Privacy Policy

Last updated September 25, 2026

Twelve Thrones is a card battle game for iPhone and iPad, available on the App Store. This policy explains what the game collects, why, where it is stored, how long it is kept and how to delete it. It covers the game and its game server. This website is described at the end.

At a glance

Who is responsible

Twelve Thrones is developed and published by Birol Aksu, Am Volkspark 77, 10715 Berlin, Deutschland. For privacy questions or data requests, email contact@bind.games.

What the game collects

Your account

When you first go online, the game server creates an account and gives it a random ID. No email address, phone number or password is needed. The server stores:

Your game progress

To run the game, the server stores the things you build and win: your decks, including the names you give them, your card collection and unlocks, your Favor balance and rewards, match results (mode, outcome, turns, rewards, and the account ID of your opponent), tutorial progress, campaign rewards, and the cosmetics you own.

Usage events

While you play online, the game sends short usage events to our server: for example, a session started, a match began or ended with its outcome and number of turns, a reward was granted, a tutorial step was taken, or a campaign encounter was started or finished. Each event carries its name, a time, a random ID for the current app session and a few game values. Events are stored with your account ID so we can understand how the game is played and improve it. They do not include your device model, location or contacts. You can stop sending them at any time in Account & Settings → Share anonymous usage (despite the switch's name, events are stored with your account ID); events already sent stay until you delete your account.

Purchases

If you buy something in the game, Apple processes the payment. We never see your card or payment details. Our server receives Apple's signed transaction, verifies it with Apple and stores the product ID and Apple's transaction ID with your account, so you keep what you bought and a refund can be applied.

Technical data

Your IP address is used in memory to limit abusive request rates and is not stored. The server records the app version when a match connection opens, in its operational log.

What the game does not collect

No email address, phone number, postal address, precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, health data, browsing or search history, device or advertising identifiers, and no crash or performance reports sent by the game.

Deleting your data and your rights

You can delete your account in the game: Account & Settings → Delete account. This removes your account, sessions, decks, collection, rewards, purchases on record, match records and usage events from the live service. If you appear as the opponent in another player's match record, your account ID is removed from it. Purchases you made through Apple stay with your Apple account.

You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to complain to a data protection authority, for example the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit. To use any of these rights, email contact@bind.games and include your account identifier, shown in Account & Settings under Account.

Children

Twelve Thrones is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
